Description

The Tawny-edged Skipper (Polites themistocles) is a small butterfly with brown wings and distinctive tawny-orange edges on the forewings, commonly found in grassy fields, meadows, and open woodland areas across eastern and central North America.

Range

It is found throughout the state.
