Description
The Peck’s Skipper (Polites peckius) is a small, yellowish-brown butterfly with distinctive dark brown borders and markings on its wings, often seen in grassy fields, gardens, and open areas across North America.
Range
It is found throughout the state and is one of the most common skippers in urban and suburban areas.
