Description

The Milbert’s Tortoiseshell (Aglais milberti) is a striking butterfly with vibrant orange and yellow bands on its wings, bordered by dark brown to black and adorned with small blue spots near the edges, commonly found in meadows, gardens, and forest edges across North America.

Range

Northeast of a line from Rochester to Detroit Lakes.
