Description
The Harvester (Feniseca tarquinius) is a unique butterfly with orange-brown wings patterned with dark spots and subtle purple-gray undersides, notable for its carnivorous larvae that feed on woolly aphids, typically found in moist woodlands, stream edges, and swamps across eastern North America. This species is not common and is distinctive looking. Look for it in wet woodlands of the north and east.
