Description

The Bog Fritillary (Boloria eunomia) is a small butterfly with bright orange wings patterned with black spots and wavy lines, and a pale yellowish underside marked by silvery spots, typically found in bogs, wet meadows, and tundra regions across northern North America and Eurasia. I tried numerous times to find this species in Minnesota but was never successful. The images shown here from from Loveland Pass, Colorado.
